The film traces Srikanth’s life from his birth in Seetharamapuram village, Machilipatnam, in the then undivided Andhra Pradesh, India, to his remarkable achievements, overcoming numerous challenges along the way.
Born visually impaired, Srikanth’s arrival initially brought joy to his father, who named him after cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth. However, this happiness soon turned to despair upon realizing his blindness, leading his father to contemplate burying him alive in a moment of hopelessness, a fate his mother averted. Despite his brilliance, Srikanth faced bullying in his local school.
The story unfolds as Srikanth moves to Hyderabad and enrolls in a special school where he excels academically, but his arrogance leads to his expulsion. His life takes a pivotal turn when he meets his mentor, Devika, who helps him challenge the system by filing a court case to pursue science after scoring 98%. Encouraged by Devika, he applies abroad and becomes the first international visually impaired student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), having been denied entry into the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). At MIT, he receives support from two students who assist him in realizing his dreams. During his college years, he meets Swati through social media, who becomes captivated by his story.
Following graduation, Swati, now his girlfriend, encourages him to return to India to fulfill his aspirations. With his mentor’s guidance, Srikanth starts a computer institute, which eventually fails. Undeterred, he partners with Ravi Mantha to establish Bollant Industries, providing employment primarily to disabled individuals. Despite facing misunderstandings with his partner, Srikanth ultimately achieves the success he envisioned, thanks to his mentor’s unwavering support.
