Tillu Square Movie introduction

Mallik Ram is the director of the 2024 Telugu romantic criminal comedy film “Tillu Square” (stylised as (TILLU)²). Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is the producer, working with Fortune Four Cinemas and Sithara Entertainments. A follow-up to the 2022 smash movie “DJ Tillu” is this movie. Anupama Parameswaran plays the lead female role, and Siddhu Jonnalagadda makes a comeback as the protagonist.

In August 2022, filming for the film began after it was revealed in June 2022. Bheems Ceciroleo, Achu Rajamani, and Ram Miriyala wrote the soundtrack.

There were multiple delays in “Tillu Square” because of postproduction problems. It was originally scheduled for release on February 9, 2024, but that date was moved to avoid conflicting with “Eagle,” another movie. When it was finally released on March 29, 2024, both reviewers and viewers gave it favourable reviews. “Tillu Cube,” the third movie in the series, is currently under production.

Tillu Square Movie Storyline

After stealing money from drug lord Shannon, Tillu creates an event management firm named Tillu Events, organizing DJs for parties and weddings. He meets Lilly Joseph at a party and becomes enamoured with her. Tillu is disappointed when Lilly writes a message and leaves after their one-night encounter.

A month later, as his father is undergoing a colonoscopy, Tillu discovers Lilly at a hospital. After Lilly informs Tillu that she is expecting his kid, the two decide to tie the knot. Lilly brings Tillu to a flat on his birthday, where she tells him she is looking for her brother Rohit, who was slain by Radhika a year ago. She persuades Tillu to take her and Purushotham, her coworker, to Rohit’s grave. Shannon, however, kidnaps Tillu; nevertheless, Lilly saves her and kills Shannon’s men.

Then Lilly says neither she nor Rohit’s sister are expecting. She is an undercover ISF agent tasked with killing infamous crime lord Sheikh Mehboob, who is wanted by RAW. She approached her goal by using Tillu, who was asked to DJ at Mehboob’s celebration in Hyderabad. Lilly uses a video of Tillu burying Rohit as blackmail to have him poison Mehboob at the celebration. She acknowledges that despite her goal, she started to feel something for Tillu.

Tillu wants to leave Hyderabad with his family on the day of Mehboob’s party, but Lilly stops him and shows him Radhika, who is in captivity. If Tillu doesn’t comply, Lilly threatens to put both Radhika and him in jail. Tillu is convinced to assist Lilly by Radhika for her benefit. At the party, Tillu offers the poisoned sweets to Mehboob, but Mehboob, informed by his informant, detains Tillu, prompting Lilly’s team to abort the mission. Mehboob appears to kill Tillu after beating him.

When Lilly finds Tillu alive a week later, she is taken aback. According to Tillu, he got away by agreeing to poison the milk that Mehboob drank with Shannon. Tillu was let free by Mehboob in return for the antidote. After Mehboob received the antidote, Tillu informed the ISF chief, which resulted in her detention. Lilly is shocked to learn that Tillu was Mehboob’s informant, even if Lilly’s goal was to kill her. To protect her secret, she desired Mehboob’s death. After Lilly is jailed, she questions Tillu about why he spared Radhika but allowed her to be caught. Tillu responds that Lilly only loved him to trick him and that Radhika cheated on him out of love. There are clues of further plot in “Tillu Cube.”
